I graduated from Bath University in 2005 and spent the first 9 years of my career in a variety of community support worker roles including as a supported housing working, a mental health support worker and a drug and alcohol support worker during which time I studied for an MSc in addiction psychology and counselling. Since then, I spent five years working as a research assistant at the University of Cambridge and four years as a research and evaluation officer in Public Health at Hertfordshire County Council. I have recently started working at Campaign for Better Transport, which is an area I am passionate about.

I graduated from the University of St Andrews in 1999 in social anthropology. I have since lived and worked in Northern Ireland, Poland and most recently in Bishop’s Stortford. I moved to Bishop’s Stortford in 2002.
I am a Licensing Manager at Transport for London and have two children now aged 21 and 20. I enjoy running long distances and reading classical novels and support both Aston Villa and Bishop’s Stortford FC.
